Thursday 27th July till Sunday 30th July 2023
4 days free entrance!
Every year at the end of July, Boechout transforms into a melting pot of cultures and music. Sfinks Mixed festival presents a unique celebration for everyone; young and old, small and tall, introverts and extraverts, an explosion of colours, smells and tastes. Four days of concerts and performances of artists from across the world. On the festival grounds parades, dj’s and installations, and the smallest ones enjoy their own festival at the Kidz Village. A colourful worldmarket brings you treasures and information about beautiful projects all over the world.
Talent from across the world, well-known or less-known
Sfinks Mixed brings you every year a broad and divers program. We invite everyone to join the party: young and less-young, families with children and musical adventurers. At Sfinks Mixed you meet artists from all the corners of the world, some travel far and some live across the street.
Since 1975 visitors discovered world-stars as Khaled (Algeria), Youssou N’Dour (Senegal), Mory Kanté (Guinee) en Cesária Évora (Cape Verde).
Good Food
During the festival you can enjoy delicious drinks and mouth-watering food. All our meals are prepared on-site with locally-grown fresh ingredients. The festival bars offer cocktails, juices and shakes. The food stalls offer woking dishes, kebab, tapas, and for the first time an extra exotic Belgian Fries stall! At the Kidz Village the small can choose from the kidz menu.
Sustainability at Sfinks
Sfinks has a mission of sustainability and strives to organise the festival as durable as possible. Every year we aim to maximise the green character of the festival on different levels. For example, the ‘Green Guerrilla’ cleans the grounds and guards the ecological impact of the event, the free secured parking area for bicycles, working with informed and customised volunteers; and assuring accessibility for people with less-ability.
Distant music, close to home
Sfinks Mixed is easily accessible by bicycle, bus, tram, train or car. Check the routedescription.
